Local Weather Info

The following statistics are collected from local weather recorders located at Alva Beach and at the DPI Research Station in Ayr. As the page is loaded it polls for the latest weather information from both sites and then displays below. We also record and graph local wind speed and wind gusts. The graphs are below. Eventually we will be monitoring and logging the output of our wind generator.

The wind generator assists with the charging of our computer battery pack. The server that is displaying these pages runs from from batteries that are charged from wind power.
