Just figured out why I was getting so many spam bot registrations on the previous version. With the system dropping entries that filled out website urls during the registration process, I could filter a lot of the automated registrations. The new version just installed no longer has entries to allow urls to be entered and the spam bots are no longer entering urls during registration. The old version started allowing the rego to happen as there was no url entered..
Time for a quick fix.. Put something the spambots do not know is there!
